We are situated one mile south of Coniston village, off the A593, on the shores of Coniston Water, over shaddowed by the fells of the Old Man of Coniston.
Travelling North on the M6 leave the motorway at exit 36 and take the first left, following signs for the A590 to Barrow-in-Furness. Once on the A590 keep on it until Greenodd, where you turn right onto the A5092 for about two miles, then right again onto the A5084, following sign posts for Torver and Coniston. Once in Torver turn right onto the A593 and after passing through woods on both sides of the road we are the first right turn down towards the lake.
If heading South on the A593 from Coniston village take the first left turn towards the lake, after the Ship Inn.
