Welcome to Coniston Hall Campsite. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. By using our online booking system, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
Governing Law
“These terms and conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes related to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales”
1. Definitions
1.1 “We,” “us,” “our” refer to Coniston Hall Campsite.
1.2 “You,” “your” refer to the person making the booking and all members of your party.
1.3 “Booking” refers to a reservation made through our online system.
2. Bookings
2.1 Bookings can only be made by individuals aged 18 or over.
2.2 A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received and you receive a confirmation email from us.
2.3 Bookings are subject to availability and our discretion.
2.4 Weekends are a minimum of two nights.
3. Payment
3.1 A deposit is required at the time of booking (non refundable)
3.2 Full payment to be made within 14 days of arrival.
3.3 Any additional fees, such as for extra services or late check-outs, must be settled before departure.
3.4 There will be a £1.99 Booking Fee applied to each booking made.
3.5 Balance due reminders will be sent out accordingly and a final payment demand will be sent out giving you 24 hours to pay the remaining balance. If the payment is not paid after the 24 hour reminder, your booking will be cancelled and you will lose the deposit and any payments that have been made previously. You will receive an email stating that the booking has been cancelled due to non payment.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 No refunds will be given for cancellations of deposit bookings.
4.2 Cancellations made within 21 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
4.3 No-shows will forfeit the full payment.
4.4 The campsite is not liable for any refund in the event of force of majeure.
4.5 No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
4.6 In the event that you want to cancel a booking and have paid the deposit and part of the balance or the entire amount remaining there will be No refunds given for the amount paid already.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
5.1 Check-in time is from 1:00 PM to 8PM.
5.2 Check-out time is by 11:00 AM on your departure date.
5.3 Failure to check out before 11 AM will result in additional charge of £20 and the barrier will not operate.
6. Conduct and Responsibilities
6.1 You are responsible for the conduct of your party during your stay.
6.2 Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 11:00 PM to respect other guests.
6.3 BBQ’s and Fire pits must be small, contained, and raised off the ground.
6.4 Pitches must be kept clean and tidy.
6.5 Waste must be placed in bags, and no hot ashes are to be disposed of in the bins.
6.6 The speed limit for vehicles throughout the campsite is 10 MPH.
6.7 Campsite rules must be obeyed at all times.
6.8 No gatherings are permitted after 11:00 PM.
6.9 No Stag Parties or Hen Do’s allowed or group gatherings. Any gatherings off separate booking made separately and congregate together on the campsite will be asked to leave the campsite and lose their money and deposit.
7. Liability
7.1 All persons staying on this site use the facilities provided entirely at their own risk, Coniston Hall Campsite cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or property caused whilst on its premises.
8. Data Protection
8.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 Your payment details are processed securely and are not stored by us.
9. Pets
9.1 Pets must be on a lead at all times and must be kept under control.
9.2 You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
9.3 No dogs permitted in toilet block at any time.
10. Force Majeure
10.1 We are not liable for failure to fulfill bookings due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
11.2 Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
